Meets July 23, July 30, August 6, August 13, August 20, August 27 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Classes take place on the first floor of the El Paso Museum of History.
During this six-week series, Gris Muños (Coneja Leather Designs) will guide participants through the basics of leatherworking. Over the course of the six sessions, participants will hone the techniques needed to sew and assemble their very own leather bag, creating smaller skill-building projects along the way. Covered topics will include stamping, dyeing, tooling, cutting, sewing, and embossing leather.
